Weekly Book Newsletter and Media Extra

Weekly Book Newsletter (WBN) is the news service of the Australian book industry. It is delivered via an e-newsletter bulletin each Wednesday to booksellers and publishers across the country, and its content is also hosted online at www.booksellerandpublisher.com.au. As well as providing latest industry news, WBN carries job and classified advertisements and information on forthcoming events. The deadline for submitting advertisements is usually 12 noon Tuesday.

Media Extra (MX) records mentions of books in the mainstream media. It monitors over 40 media outlets each week, helping booksellers anticipate consumer demand and enabling publishers to measure the success of their PR efforts. Delivered by e-newsletter each Monday, MX is also hosted online at ^{www.booksellerandpublisher.com.au}, where subscribers can conduct advanced searches of the MX database.
