TERMS OF TRADE

Prices
All prices quoted on this site are recommended retail prices (RRP), are in Australian dollars, are GST inclusive and are subject to change without notice. Where POA is indicated, prices are available on application by contacting customer.service@thorpe.com.au.

Discounts
Thorpe-Bowker tax invoices show the RRP less any agreed discount.

Credit Terms
The payment due date is 30 days from the date of the invoice. Accounts with overdue balances will automatically have credit withdrawn until all outstanding balances are cleared. Thorpe-Bowker reserves the right to charge interest rate of 1.5% per month on all overdue balances. Where authorised, extended credit may be applied under special circumstances. Personal or director's guarantees may be required. Freight Freight and handling charges will apply to some orders. If customers request airfreight or overnight express, the cost will be billed to the customer. A small order handling charge of $10 will be applied to orders with a net value of less than $500 unless otherwise stated.

Claims
All Thorpe-Bowker orders are offered on a firm sale/no return basis. For all damaged goods/misbound goods/incorrect supply, customer service must be notified within 7 days of receipt. All journal, microfiche and CD-ROMs ordered through Thorpe-Bowker are firm sale and cannot be cancelled mid-term. Claims requests for journals must be made to Thorpe-Bowker within 3 months. Those received outside of this period will not be accepted.
